The Wings on Flame Restaurant Ltd. - Dishwasher Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at The Wings on Flame Restaurant Ltd. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes
  • Operate dishwashers to wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and flatware
  • Store cleaned dishes and utensils in designated areas
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand as needed
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, and storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors as needed
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
  • Will train
  • Support for newcomers and refugees
  • Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees
  • Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
Working Conditions:
  • 35 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • English language required
