About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Assistant to join our team at 2544721 Alberta Inc. as a Home Care Worker.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Encourage regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain physical mobility and overall well-being.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide personal care, including assistance with daily living activities, such as dressing and grooming.
Work Environment

As a Home Care Assistant, you will work in various locations, visiting clients in their homes or in community settings. You will be required to travel between locations, using your own vehicle or public transportation.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
