**Your main responsibilities**:

- Receive shipments from suppliers, validate packing slips and put away inventory
- Responsible for all aspects of inventory management, cycle counts, stock rotation, receiving, general organization and cleanliness of the warehouse/storeroom
- Occasional driving/delivering duties when required
- Maintains storage distribution of product by pulling orders from warehouse to staging or shipping area; or restocks products on shelves
- Locates parts by pulling and verifying product numbers listed on pick order
- Shipping and receiving products to various branches across Ontario
- Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using material handling equipment. Ensure items are loaded in proper sequence, ensure it is loaded in a secure and safe manner.
- Ensures all documentation is receive and completed as per order, verifies accuracy of all documentation including tags/labels
- Locate and pick product and materials as per customer order requirements, use computer information or paper documentation to build order, tag/label and prepare orders for shipment.
- Liaise with Counter staff to respond to warehouse inquiries, actively assisting in identification, communication and correction of warehouse errors
- Adheres to all Health and Safety Guidelines, participates in and promotes Company Health and Safety Program
- Participate in warehouse physical inventory counts
- General housekeeping duties related to the cleanliness of the store; including but not limited to sweeping/mopping, cleaning bathrooms, and taking care of the external grounds as required
- Assist customers and counter staff as required/requested, providing excellent customer services and representing the Maslack/Uni-Select brand with professionalism
- Other duties as assigned

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

**Essential qualifications**:

- Experience in a warehouse environment (at least 1 year)
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated computer, POS and inventory management experience (at least 1 year)
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Capacity to be trained and certified to operate mechanical lifting devices (forklift, boom truck, pump truck, etc.) Certification considered an asset
- Ability to organize, take initiative and multi-task
- Knowledge of auto-parts considered an asset
