The primary responsibility of the individual in this role is to support skilled tradespeople in various tasks associated with carpentry, painting, masonry, electrical work, and plumbing. This position also includes responsibilities such as moving furniture and preparing spaces for events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist skilled trades by preparing materials, erecting scaffolding, holding components in position, cleaning, supplying tools, preparing surfaces, and maintaining cleanliness in work areas.
  • Perform tasks including cleaning, gluing, sanding, and finishing furniture and woodwork.
  • In the electrical domain, responsibilities include drilling into walls, ceilings, and floors; routing wires, installing junction boxes, aiding in pipe installation, and repairing electrical outlets and switches.
  • Set up rooms and manage equipment for events.
  • Handle furniture relocation and repair duties.
  • Maintain outdoor grounds and areas.
  • Change light bulbs and fluorescent tubes, ceiling tiles, and potentially operate a truck as required.
  • Carry out other related duties as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license issued by the Société d'assurance automobile du Québec.

Salary: $21.58 per hour
