Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of our kitchen and food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to our staff on their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and customer service skills.
- Inventory Management: Manage our inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality standards, and that customer complaints are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for our management team.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with our chefs, kitchen staff, and front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules for our kitchen and food service staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage at all times.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment
- Supervision: 1 to 2 people, including kitchen and food service helpers
