Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Co-op Student to join our Technical Department at Tolko Industries Ltd. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects and contribute to the company's Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED) program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist technical employees in documenting projects and experimental trials
  • Collaborate with operations employees to ensure smooth project execution
  • Develop strong communication skills and work effectively in a team environment
  • Align with Tolko's values of safety, respect, progressiveness, integrity, open communication, and profit
  • Pursue post-secondary education in applied science, engineering, or wood science field

Requirements:

  • Pursuing post-secondary education in applied science, engineering, or wood science field
  • 3rd year student will be given priority
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Alignment with Tolko's values
  • Previous Co-op experience is an asset
  • Must have a valid class 5 driver's license (no restrictions)
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing process flow is an asset
