IT Environment Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Environment Manager to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and enhancing the development and test environments from an infrastructure and application perspective.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the development and test environments, ensuring they are stable and secure.
- Analyze and troubleshoot incidents and technical issues, using your expertise to resolve problems efficiently.
- Deploy updates and promote software packages to non-production environments, ensuring seamless transitions.
- Coordinate system upgrades, maintenance, and release activities across environments, ensuring consistency and minimal disruption.
- Collaborate with delivery and production support teams to ensure consistency between non-production and production environments.
- Manage data feeds and ensure batch jobs run within expected timings, fine-tuning scheduling as needed.
- Produce, update, and review Run Books and Implementation Plans, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Provide expertise around InfoSec/IT Security best practices and change management policies, ensuring compliance and security.
- Work to address security vulnerabilities and maintain proper server hygiene, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.
- Write scripts to improve efficiency and automation, streamlining processes and reducing manual effort.
- ~5+ years IT support experience, with a strong background in infrastructure and application management.
- Strong proficiency with Windows Server, IIS, MS SQL, PowerShell, and other relevant technologies.
- Experience diagnosing and debugging performance and security issues, with a proven track record of resolving complex problems.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and dev ops best practices, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with development and support teams, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
- Demonstrated independent leadership and analytical skills, with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear and concise communication.
