POSITION: Customer Service Advisor (Internal Sales)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advise current and prospective customers on the acquisition of electrical equipment, including electric motors and variable speed drives;
  • Establish and nurture robust business connections founded on trust, respect, and dedication;
  • Prepare and follow up on pricing proposals, ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently;
  • Deliver exceptional post-sale assistance, especially regarding part replacements, warranties, and order tracking;
  • Manage sales invoicing within our digital system;
  • Serve as a communication bridge between clients and the repair facility to identify swift and effective technical resolutions;
  • Work closely with Technical Representatives to meet sales objectives and coordinate with the purchasing team on procedural matters;
  • Be on-call for emergency service rotations when necessary;
  • Provide in-store support during employee absences and vacations as needed;
  • Undertake additional tasks to support the department or branch.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College diploma in a technical discipline or equivalent training;
  • At least 5 years of experience in a technical sales role within the industrial equipment sector, ideally with electric motors;
  • Familiarity with electric motors and variable speed drives is a significant advantage;
  • Proficient in computer applications (Office);
  • Results-driven with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction;
  • Sound judgment and effective task prioritization skills;
  • Team-oriented individual;
  • Able to handle stress and negotiate with dissatisfied clients;
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting focused on rapid change;
  • Exemplary honesty and integrity;
  • Detail-oriented and conscientious;
  • Strong communication skills.
