About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Packager to join our team at 2213256 Ontario Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient packaging of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Safety and Handling: Maintain a high level of awareness and adherence to food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Material Transportation: Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials as required to support production operations.
  • Machine Operation: Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers, and remove filled containers from conveyors.
  • Packaging and Quality Control: Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, check products and packaging for basic quality defects, and assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a clean and organized production environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
