Key Responsibilities- Lead structural inspections for industrial projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Design and develop equipment foundations and support structures, utilizing advanced technical skills in steel and concrete design.
- Make informed technical decisions with limited information, leveraging your expertise and experience.
- Estimate and prepare engineering proposals, highlighting the value and benefits of our services.
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Approve and stamp project design and reports, providing peer review and guidance to junior engineers.
- Represent CIMA+ in client-facing presentations and meetings, showcasing our expertise and building strong relationships.
- Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in consulting engineering, with a strong background in structural design and project management.
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the province of Alberta, British Columbia, or Saskatchewan.
- Advanced technical skills in steel and concrete design, with field experience and a working knowledge of Canadian codes and standards.
- Design experience in heavy industries such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Hydro & Dam, and Renewable Energy.
- Substation design experience is an asset.
- Proficiency in the use of SAP 2000 or similar software.
