Maintenance Person Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Person to join our team at Lake Louise Inn. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our property.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; empty trash cans and other waste containers; wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; contact tradespersons for major repairs; perform minor repairs on appliances.
  • Physical Demands: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies; clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Additional Tasks: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens; perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
