About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Manager to join our team at Arctic Wolf. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for leading our Managed Detection and Response (MDR) efforts, ensuring the security and integrity of our customers' networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals in the development and implementation of MDR strategies and tactics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and provide guidance and recommendations to the team.
  • Manage and analyze security data to identify trends and patterns, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on network telemetry and intrusion detection systems.
  • 2+ years of management or team lead experience in a cybersecurity or network engineering role.
  • Proficiency in network protocols, network security architecture, and network monitoring tools.
  • Experience with network telemetry technologies and platforms such as NetFlow, IPFIX, Suricata, and Snort.
  • Familiarity with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools like Splunk, ELK Stack, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Competency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience leading Agile development teams, preferably with formal Agile training.
  • Professional certifications in Security are required (i.e. CISSP, GNFA, GCIH, GREM).
  • Permanently located in Canada or the U.S.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
