About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Services Aide to join our team at Blest Care Home Inc. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities
    • Help patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming
    • Assist with feeding and serving meal trays
    • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Provide Personal Care
    • Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
    • Assist with mobility and transfer patients as needed
    • Help patients with exercise routines and activities
  • Maintain a Safe and Clean Environment
    • Assist with cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms and common areas
    • Help maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Communicate Effectively
    • Respond to call signals and determine patients' needs
    • Communicate with healthcare team members and family members as needed
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Continuing Care Assistant Certification
    • First Aid Certificate
    • Nursing Aide Certificate
    • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
