Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high-quality food and service standards.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure accurate ordering and inventory management.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports to optimize food service operations.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-44 hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Standing for extended periods is required.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
