Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team at Datasource Recruitment. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our client's systems and data.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective change control procedures to minimize risk and ensure compliance with ITIL standards.
- Work closely with customers to improve processes and provide expert advice on SIEM operations and risk management.
- Deliver high-quality progress reports and presentations to clients, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Conduct thorough analysis of SIEM outputs, identifying and escalating potential security incidents or breaches.
- Provide subject matter expertise on Secure by Design principles and translate technical risks into understandable formats for non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team members to foster growth and development, and engage effectively with clients and managers across all levels.
- Proven track record as an IT Change Analyst, Cyber Security Analyst, or in a related role.
- Experience with Change Control and proficiency in implementing ITIL processes.
- Strong expertise in SIEM operations and competence in Risk Management and NIST Cyber Security Controls.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with client-facing experience.
