Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team at Datasource Recruitment. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our client's systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Streamline and enhance our client's Change Control procedures to maximize efficiency.
  • Work with customers to improve processes in alignment with ITIL4 standards.
  • Deliver concise progress reports and compelling presentations to clients.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), providing recommendations for product enhancements.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of SIEM outputs, promptly identifying and escalating any incidents or breaches.
  • Provide assurance support to team members on Secure by Design principles.
  • Translate technical risks into understandable formats for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior team members to foster growth and development.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record as an IT Change Analyst, Cyber Security Analyst, or in a related role.
  • Must have experience with Change Control.
  • Proficiency in implementing ITIL processes.
  • Strong expertise in SIEM operations.
  • Competence in Risk Management and NIST Cyber Security Controls.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with client-facing experience.
