Level Designer Opportunity at Haven Studios

We're seeking a skilled Level Designer to join our team at Haven Studios, a subsidiary of Sony Interactive Entertainment. As a Level Designer, you'll be responsible for crafting exceptional experiences for players and supporting the overall design vision for our game.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build game levels efficiently, leveraging game features and mechanics.
  • Implement levels through every stage of production, from design document to final polished product.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including artists, game designers, programmers, and sound designers.
  • Assess gameplay, navigation, and flow to ensure a memorable player experience.
  • Identify and address potential risks, dependencies, and constraints related to level design.
  • Continuously use feedback and data to maintain and drive the development of level content.
Requirements:
  • Shipped at least one AAA console title.
  • Strong interest in Multiplayer/Live Service games.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to review and assess levels against design criteria.
  • Ability to communicate design ideas and concepts clearly across disciplines.
  • Flexibility and adaptability throughout the production process.
  • Good awareness of game flow and pacing.
  • Knowledge of Unreal level editing tools and scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling tools.
