Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Barista to join our team at Paradies Lagardère Travel Retail. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members, embodying a positive company image.
  • Food and Beverage Preparation: Operate coffee making equipment, prepare and present beverages according to established recipe and presentation standards.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately total, process, and collect payments from guests, handling money and processing credit and debit card transactions.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist with new team member training, support other areas of the restaurant as requested, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensure guest satisfaction and work to resolve any guest issues or concerns, enlisting the assistance of a Manager if necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience: Food and Beverage experience is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Customer service focused, solution-oriented, ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment, and effective communication skills.
  • Certifications: SERV Safe Certification or equivalent is preferred.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment, including standing for long periods of time and working in an environment with varying temperatures.
