Night Shift Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Supervisor to join our team at Super 8 Abbotsford. As a Night Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the night shift operations, ensuring the smooth running of the hotel, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the work of night shift staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Perform same duties as workers supervised, including handling guest complaints and resolving issues in a professional manner.
- Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, and arrange for repair work as needed.
- Requisition materials and supplies, and arrange for maintenance and repair work.
- Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, including facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
- Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Permanent full-time position.
- 30 to 36 hours per week.
- English language of work.
