Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at the Canadian Mental Health Association Waterloo Wellington.
Job Summary:
This is a part-time role (21 hours/3 days per week) based in our Kitchener/Waterloo location. As a Psychiatrist, you will work collaboratively in a team-based care model, including with community partners and primary care. You will have the opportunity to actively support educational activities and an academic teaching appointment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric services to adults, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Work collaboratively with community partners and primary care providers to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in educational activities and academic teaching appointments
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
Requirements:
- FRCP(C) in Psychiatry and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Experience in psychiatric specialties (adult psychiatry, addictions, serious and persistent mental illness)
- Commitment to community-based services
- Demonstrated understanding and sensitivity to social and cultural diversity
- Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, and various database software
- Valid driver's license and own transportation
