Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Manager to join our team at AL-MUQEET FOODS INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

The Shift Manager will be responsible for establishing methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.

Supervise and Coordinate Staff

The Shift Manager will supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

The Shift Manager will train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff are equipped to perform their roles to a high standard.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

The Shift Manager will estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that all necessary items are available.

Ensure Quality Control

The Shift Manager will ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, ensuring that all customers receive a high-quality experience.

Prepare Reports and Budgets

The Shift Manager will prepare budget and cost estimates, as well as maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.

Communicate with Customers

The Shift Manager will address customers' complaints or concerns, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.

Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment
  • Permanent employment
  • Fluency in English
  • 37.5 hours per week
