Indigenous Community Justice Program Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Farmworker Justice Indigenous Community Justice Program Administrator will provide administrative support to the Program Coordinator and Director in delivering the Indigenous Community Justice Program (ICJP). The ICJP is a post-charge diversion program for Indigenous people involved with the justice system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in case management, client file management, and facilitating hearing circles.
- Support program promotion, client support, and program development.
- Attend court to provide updates and prepare reports.
- Network and liaison with other agencies to support program goals.
- Contribute to program evaluation and improvement.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience in the justice system, including alternative justice systems.
- Administrative skills, including writing, proofing, tracking reports, and case noting.
- Knowledge of social and cultural barriers faced by urban Indigenous people.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience working within a community-based organization.
- Satisfactory criminal records check.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Indigenous community and history.
- Experience in case management procedures.
