About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cellular Network Technician to join our team at Mobile Care. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our telecommunications equipment and providing top-notch service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspection and Repair: Inspect the operation of telecommunications equipment and repair or replace defective telephone equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Analysis and Troubleshooting: Analyze test results and adjust, change or repair switching system, network, associated equipment and software to resolve technical issues.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Complete and maintain test and service reports to ensure accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble to provide effective solutions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Urban area, with a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in computerized testing systems.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, initiative, organized, reliable, accurate, and dependable.
Experience
  • Experience Level: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Employment Type: Permanent.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
