Job Summary:

VenorTalent is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer experience, and maintaining a high level of operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Store Performance: Achieve sales, profit, and customer experience targets through effective communication and delegation of company resources.
  • Business Planning: Develop an annual budget and business plan with the Director of Operations and Finance.
  • Market Positioning: Develop a local market positioning strategy in line with corporate objectives to grow profitable sales and increase market share.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory management relevant to seasonal timeframe and market conditions through effective use of tools and reports as well as communication with business partners and clientele.
  • Merchandising: Set and monitor merchandising standards within corporate guidelines for the branch.
  • Team Leadership: Build solid relationships with peer group and business partners, sharing feedback and best practices.
  • Compliance: Ensure work is conducted in compliance with health and safety policy and legislation.
  • Management Development: Select and develop a strong management team to assist in the day-to-day leadership of the store and to provide for an effective succession plan.

Requirements:

  • 4 – 6 years of experience in retail.
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to manage and drive sales plans from beginning to end.
  • Articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
  • Position products against competitors.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation skills, and communication skills.
