Job Title: Carpenter Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Supervisor to join our team at WEST HILL FINISHING & CARPENTRY LTD. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The Carpenter Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of carpenters and overseeing various projects, including construction, maintenance, and repair. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of carpenters and other tradespeople
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems
  • Set up equipment and ensure its proper use
  • Requisition materials and supplies
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in carpentry and supervision
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Basic security clearance
  • Criminal record check
