We are seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our team at Town Pump Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Organize and execute buffets and banquets, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience in a kitchen environment, with a focus on food preparation and presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
