Job Title: Landscape Worker

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Worker to join our team at CLAY-NOR Lawn & Garden. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our clients' properties are well-manicured and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tie and secure plants to ensure stability and safety
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a neat and tidy appearance
  • Cut grass to maintain a uniform height and texture
  • Rake and collect refuse to keep the work site clean and organized
  • Remove litter and garbage to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials to enhance the appearance of the property
  • Lay sod or seed to create a lush and vibrant lawn
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to add color and texture to the property
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation
  • Write daily basic progress reports to keep management informed of work completed
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure optimal growth and health
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation
  • Tree removal to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license to operate company vehicles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks
  • Manual dexterity to operate equipment and perform tasks
  • Attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship
  • Ability to distinguish between colors to ensure accurate plant identification
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending to perform tasks
