We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at InLife Independent Living Ltd. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently in the community.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care and assistance with daily living tasks, including domestic duties, bowel care, and catheter care. You will also work with clients who have complex support needs, including those who require 24/7 assistance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living tasks, including domestic duties, bowel care, and catheter care.
- Support clients with complex support needs, including those who require 24/7 assistance.
- Work with clients who have physical disabilities, including transfers and the use of equipment.
- Assist with bowel care and catheter care.
- Support clients who have a physical disability, including transfers and the use of equipment.
- Work with children and adults with disabilities.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Experience working with people with disabilities.
- Experience in personal care and assistance with daily living tasks.
- Experience working with clients who have complex support needs.
- Experience working with clients who have physical disabilities.
- Enthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live great lives.
- Commitment to working with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals.
