About the Role

Smile Shapers Napanee is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our oral health care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care services to ensure optimal oral health outcomes.
  • Perform clinical preventative hygiene services, including scaling, root planning, polishing, and topical fluoride applications.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on oral health best practices and promote a culture of prevention.
  • Develop and maintain strong patient relationships built on trust, empathy, and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with other oral health care professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure continuous improvement in patient care.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
  • Registration and/or licensure with the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA).
  • Current CPR certification.
