Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented SQL Developer to work on our team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale enterprise data ETL processes. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in SQL development, preferably in a banking or financial institution environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to implement database relationships and design logical and physical database descriptions.
  2. Develop and maintain database procedures, functions, and manuals.
  3. Work with senior management, technical, and client teams to determine data requirements and implement business data solutions.
  4. Design, implement, and automate large-scale enterprise data ETL processes.
  5. Modify existing databases and database management systems.
  6. Test programs or databases and correct errors.
Requirements
  1. 8+ years of experience in SQL development, preferably in a banking or financial institution environment.
  2. 3+ years of experience with Oracle RDBMS and Oracle SQL*Plus.
  3. Recent experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, and Confluence.
Preferred Skills
  1. Experience with UNIX shell scripting.
  2. Backend development experience in Python, C#, C++, or Java.
  3. AML/ATF experience.
  4. Spanish speaking skills.
Soft Skills
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks without direct oversight.
  • Fast learner with ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and demonstrate strong professionalism.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field such as computer science or related field.
  • Oracle Database certifications.
