Job Title: Pharmacy Aide

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Aide to join our team at Blue Rose Pharmacy Inc.

Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Aide will provide administrative support to our pharmacists and pharmacy staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy. This role involves a variety of tasks, including maintaining accurate records, preparing medications, and assisting with inventory management.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prescriptions and medications
  • Prepare medications for clients, including labeling and packaging
  • Assist pharmacists with tasks such as entering client information into databases and maintaining inventory
  • Perform general clerical duties, including answering phones and responding to emails
  • Assist with scheduling and workflow, including managing appointments and ensuring timely delivery of medications
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by pharmacists and pharmacy staff
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a pharmacy or related field
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Work Environment:

The Pharmacy Aide will work in a pharmacy or drugstore environment, with regular exposure to medications and pharmacy equipment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
