About the Role
Cencora is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a Field and Infusion Nurse role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in a variety of settings, including patient homes and specialty clinics.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments in patient homes and clinics, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Assess and monitor patient responses to treatments, reporting any adverse events or concerns to the relevant authorities.
- Complete necessary documentation and records, adhering to regulatory standards and company policies.
- Provide education and support to patients and caregivers on medication use and treatment protocols.
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Travel to patient homes and clinics within a designated geographical area, ensuring reliable availability to meet patient needs.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to maintain and enhance professional practice standards.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including those related to health and safety.
Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice.
- 1 year of experience in IV initiation and infusion therapy.
- Experience in a critical care, emergency, or acute care setting.
- Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution and industry standards.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
