This position offers invaluable experience in the educational sector, allowing you to work closely with children and their families to foster academic excellence. Our innovative learning programs equip students of all ages with essential skills for lifelong learning, including concentration, memory, and self-belief.

Position Overview:

This is an in-person role, requiring daily commutes to our center. The position entails working afternoons and evenings from Monday to Thursday, with additional hours on Friday and Saturday mornings. Comprehensive training in our educational methodologies will be provided, and a vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with parents to provide information about our educational programs
  • Coordinate schedules for students, staff, and educators
  • Administer assessments and evaluate student progress
  • Develop and oversee tailored learning programs for students
  • Collaborate with community members, including schools and local organizations
  • Maintain communication with parents regarding their child's academic journey
  • Ensure adherence to the educational philosophy of Oxford Learning
  • Create an engaging and supportive learning atmosphere
  • Master our teaching philosophy and mentor fellow educators

Qualifications:

Education:

  • A minimum of a university degree
  • Strong skills in secondary school mathematics are advantageous
  • Bilingual proficiency is required

Experience:

  • Experience in an educational setting with medium to large student groups
  • Background in a business environment is a plus
  • Familiarity with billing processes is necessary
  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Office, online communication tools)
  • Strong customer service skills, with experience in sales preferred

Job Type: Part-time (12 to 16 hours per week)

Compensation: $19 - $24 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 3 PM - 8 PM
  • Saturday mornings: 9 AM - 1 PM
  • Friday: as needed
