- Executing Phase I and II ESAs;
- Conducting Environmental Compliance Audits;
- Performing fieldwork, including soil and groundwater sampling, drilling oversight, and contractor management;
- Preparing technical documentation such as reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals; and
- Analyzing data, which includes creating maps, tables, and figures.

- Training: This role necessitates OSHA health and safety, first aid, and CPR training, along with medical monitoring, all covered by the company. - Fieldwork: Up to 80% of the role involves fieldwork.
- Travel: Up to 30% of the role may require overnight travel.

- A Bachelor's degree in environmental science, earth science, or environmental engineering is required.
- Professional Geoscientist/Professional Engineer designation, or eligibility for registration as a Geoscientist in Training (GIT)/ Engineer in Training (EIT) as soon as eligible is required.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- A proven track record and technical expertise in conducting Phase I ESAs in Ontario is required.
- Experience with environmental due diligence in other Canadian jurisdictions and internationally is preferred.
- A strong understanding of Ontario Regulation 153/04, as amended, and the assessments necessary for preparing Record of Site Condition (RSC) filings is required.
- Experience with complex, demanding, and legally sensitive projects is preferred.
- A valid Canadian driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel is required.
