Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Home Childcare Provider to join our team at 14905580 Canada Inc. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: A college diploma or CEGEP certificate in a related field, along with 2 years of experience in childcare.
  • Childcare Duties:
    • Diaper changing and toilet training
    • Preparing formulas and sterilizing bottles
    • Assuming full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
    • Performing light housekeeping and cleaning tasks
    • Traveling with families on trips and assisting with childcare and household duties
    • Caring for foster children
    • Instructing children in personal hygiene and social development
    • Keeping records of daily activities and health information
    • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment
    • Organizing activities such as games and outings
    • Preparing and serving nutritious meals
    • Preparing children for rest periods
    • Supervising and caring for children
    • Tending to the emotional well-being of children
  • Work Environment: This is a temporary, part-time position with 30 hours of work per week.
  • Language: English
Requirements
  • A college diploma or CEGEP certificate in a related field
  • 2 years of experience in childcare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
