Job Summary:

The Property Attendant is a vital member of our housekeeping team at Fox Harb'r Resort, a 5-Star, 4-Diamond property nestled along the coast of the Northumberland Strait in Nova Scotia. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to maintain the inventory of supplies and linens in various areas of the Resort and perform daily cleaning tasks in public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean assigned public areas throughout the Resort, including restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Ensure all surfaces, mirrors, and windows are clean and dust-free.
  • Supply Management: Collect soiled linens and restock linen closets. Empty trash in all public areas and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a polite and friendly manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Reporting and Safety: Report any necessary maintenance items or safety concerns to the management team. Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation policies.

Requirements:

  • Valid Canadian Driver's License: Must possess a valid Canadian driver's license.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a hotel environment is an asset.
  • Physical Fitness: Be physically fit, with the ability to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stretch, climb stairs, and use stepladders.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with some priority thinking.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible schedule that includes varied shifts, weekends, and holidays.
