Job Overview

Qualifications

Education:

  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Equivalent experience may also be considered
Work Environment

The role will be conducted in a non-smoking household, primarily within the employer's home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
  • Perform light cleaning and housekeeping tasks
  • Shop for groceries and household necessities
  • Accompany the family on trips, assisting with child supervision and household tasks
  • Handle laundry, including washing, ironing, and pressing clothing and linens
  • Provide care for pets as needed
  • Guide children in personal hygiene and social skills development
  • Ensure a safe and healthy home environment
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Supervise and care for children at all times
  • Transport children to and from school and appointments
  • Support the emotional well-being of children
  • Prepare meals
