We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, maintain employee benefits records, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
