About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at True North Star Subs Inc. as a permanent full-time position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Transactions: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, maintain general ledgers and financial statements, post journal entries, and prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare trial balance of books and reconcile accounts.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, accurate, organized, and bondable.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
