Senior Game Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Game Designer to join our team and contribute to the development of our next-generation Turn-Based Tactical RPG.

As a Senior Game Designer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing game mechanics, systems, and features that deliver an exceptional player experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop game mechanics, systems, and features that meet the project's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Designer, Creative Director, and other departments to ensure alignment and consistency across the project.
  • Communicate design ideas and solutions effectively to stakeholders, including written documentation and presentations.
  • Manage and prioritize feature development, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and provide solutions to address design and development challenges.
  • Support the growth and development of team members, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in game design, with a focus on Turn-Based Tactical RPGs.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality game design assets, including game mechanics, systems, and features.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex design and development challenges.
  • Experience with game development tools, including Unity.

Bonus Requirements:

  • Experience with game UI/UX design.
  • Extensive knowledge of current and historical Turn-Based Tactical RPGs.
  • Significant experience working with Unity.
