Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team at JMD Hospitality Inc. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong background in culinary arts.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Organize buffets and banquets
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent position
  • English language
  • 40 hours per week
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding role. The ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail is essential.
