About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of Department Manager – Telecommunications and Operational Infrastructures. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the department's human, financial, and material resources, as well as ensuring the successful execution of activities aligned with BBA's business plan and operational efficiency targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate consulting and engineering services for network architecture, IT/OT solutions development, IT/OT infrastructure, server rooms, and operations rooms.
- Develop department members' technical skills through training, work methods, and recruitment of qualified personnel to achieve BBA's strategic objectives.
- Develop client relationships and prepare competitive proposals.
- Participate in projects as a technical contributor or project manager.
- Monitor and assess employees under your supervision.
- Collaborate with internal teams to increase department efficiency and quality, ensuring a structured approach to project delivery.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience in telecommunications or operational system architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in computer or electrical engineering with a specialization in telecommunications and networking, or any combination of education and experience relevant to the position.
- Knowledge of best practices in IT/OT infrastructure design, cybersecurity standards, and best practices.
- Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written.
