About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Engineer to join our team at LayerZero Labs. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in driving our mission to enhance blockchain interoperability and unlock the full potential of cross-chain decentralized applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust and scalable web applications that push the boundaries of web3 technologies.
  • Collaborate with our team to architect and build performant backend systems for serving our core marketplace features.
  • Mentor and train other team members on best practices and approaching large ambiguous problems.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers to prioritize, scope, and architect new features.
  • Prioritize projects and tasks based on impact, balancing moving fast and building for the long haul.
About You

We are looking for a talented individual with a deep understanding of web technologies and large-scale web application architectures. You should have a strong background in front-end architecture, including performance, security, and usability.

Key qualifications include:

  • 4+ years of industry experience building scalable and performant production UIs and APIs using a stack similar to React, Typescript, AWS, and Elasticsearch.
  • Strong customer empathy and ability to think critically about how our features impact our community, users, and business.
  • Interest in the Blockchain space and a willingness to learn and grow with our team.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000/year up to $200,000/year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, we also offer equity and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package.
