We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Expeditor - VMI Coordinator to join our team at our Vendor Management Inventory (VMI) location in Winnipeg. As an Expeditor - VMI Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing product orders and related documentation for the Alliance group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all customers' needs are responded to in an efficient, accurate, and professional manner
  • Maintain focus on company policies, procedures, and objectives
  • Expedite and conduct follow-up on orders and mitigate product shortages/delays
  • Work cooperatively with the team to achieve common goals
  • Perform other duties as required within the department
  • Expedite delivery as necessary to meet customer on-time delivery expectations
  • Communicate and resolve delivery issues with customers and outside sales representatives
  • Recommend changes to improve expediting taking into account customer procedures and practices
  • Enter expedite information into AS400.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Must have exceptional organizational skills
  • 2-3 years of related industry experience
  • Must have excellent Excel, Word, Outlook & Adobe skills
  • AS400 system experience an asset
  • Valid drivers' license and ability to travel in Canada and the US
