BDC is seeking a highly skilled Business Quality Review Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Business Quality Review group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our business operations.

About the Role

The Business Quality Review Specialist will be responsible for reviewing transactions, analyzing processes, and making recommendations to improve existing processes. You will work closely with our business units and corporate functions to ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review transactions, including documentation, to confirm compliance with regulatory and corporate compliance frameworks.
  • Analyze processes and make recommendations to improve existing processes.
  • Work with business units and corporate functions to ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate compliance frameworks.
  • Prepare reports summarizing findings and make recommendations to improve the effectiveness of controls.
  • Validate the implementation of recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration.
  • 7-10 years of experience in a lending role or equivalent experience.
  • BDC experience is an asset.
  • Strong credit and analytical skills.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
  • Autonomy, thoroughness, and good priority management.
  • Proven knowledge of BDC's policies, directives, and guidelines and regulatory compliance environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
