Position Overview

As a Wholesale Buyer at Primero Cigar Imports Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the procurement process, ensuring that our inventory meets the demands of our clientele.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year but less than 2 years in a related field.
Work Environment
  • Located in an urban area.
  • Operates within a wholesale establishment or store.
Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, discounts, credit terms, and logistics with vendors.
  • Oversee the distribution of products to various outlets.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Assess the needs of the establishment and determine the appropriate quantity and type of products to purchase.
  • Select and procure merchandise for resale.
  • Attend trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay updated on market trends.
