Job Title: Public Utilities Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Utilities Manager to join our team at Build Rite Homes Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Public Utilities Manager will be responsible for managing the operations of various public utilities, including waste management, sewage treatment, electrical power distribution, and water filtration. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to oversee a team of 3-4 people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage solid or liquid waste collection and disposal systems, ensuring safe operation and compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee the maintenance of sewage treatment plant equipment and prepare reports on water quality.
  • Plan and direct the distribution of electrical power, ensuring efficient and reliable service to customers.
  • Manage water filtration and purification processes, scheduling and overseeing maintenance of plant equipment.
  • Plan and direct the distribution of heating oil products to retail distributors and regional storage sites.
  • Manage finances and budget, ensuring effective resource allocation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
