We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at Silver Hotel Group. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front desk and financial systems during late-night hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
    • Welcoming and greeting guests, executing check-in and check-out procedures, and answering guest inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Financial Management
    • Accurately follow all cash handling procedures, ensuring the security and integrity of our financial systems.
    • Administer all night audit functions, balancing revenue and settlement accounts nightly, and ensuring all daily transactions are reconciled and accounted for in accordance with set policies and procedures.
  • Operational Support
    • Assist with various operational tasks, including maintaining files, resetting the system for the next day of operations, and performing any other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
    • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a related role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Proficient in using a computer, with knowledge of excel and basic accounting principles.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work Environment
    • Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift, with regular breaks.
