Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Logistics
    • Drive a variety of trucks, including straight and articulated vehicles, to transport goods and materials.
    • Obtain necessary permits and documents to transport cargo on international routes.
    • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle condition and safety.
  • Vehicle Maintenance
    • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
    • Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs as needed.
    • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.
  • Cargo Handling and Safety
    • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
    • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
    • Transport and handle hazardous materials in accordance with regulations.
  • Communication and Record-Keeping
    • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
    • Record and report any issues or incidents during transportation.
Requirements
  • AZ class license.
  • Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Valid cellular phone and steel-toed safety boots.
Work Environment

As a Truck Driver with Trubright Transportation Services, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be required to work varying shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, and may be away from home for extended periods.
