We are seeking a results-oriented individual to lead our Mortgage Enforcement team, fostering a culture of excellence and inclusivity.
The Mortgage Enforcement Manager is accountable for the effective execution of the Bank's Mortgage Enforcement Collection Strategy. This role serves as the primary liaison for reputational risk matters involving various corporate departments. The incumbent will also cultivate relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements and contractual obligations with third-party vendors by:
- Monitoring compliance with established agreements.
- Proposing modifications to contracts and service levels.
- Collaborating with senior management on policy adjustments.
- Addressing service-related issues with vendors.
- Identifying opportunities for service enhancement.
- Performance Oversight: Supervise the performance of third-party service providers by:
- Implementing a robust performance reporting framework.
- Gathering necessary data for comprehensive performance evaluations.
- Recommending adjustments to contracts and service agreements.
- Delivering performance reviews to vendors.
- Facilitating regular communication with service providers.
- Collection Efficiency: Enhance the unit's performance by maximizing recoveries through:
- Timely assignment of accounts to appropriate partners.
- Evaluating recovery strategies and associated costs.
- Monitoring external resource efforts.
- Making informed decisions on offers and costs within set limits.
- Team Leadership: Develop and mentor a high-performing team by:
- Creating ongoing training and development plans.
- Promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Providing guidance on performance management.
- Establishing clear objectives aligned with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven leadership capabilities and a strong understanding of the Bank's collection practices.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
